WEEK OF 11.03.2025
GAME WEEK - SAVAGE BASKETBALL IS BACK AT SPORTS ACADEMY
It’s game week, and our Savage boys are ready to get back to work at Sports Academy this weekend! This will be a program-wide event featuring our 12U, 13U, and 14U teams — we’re excited to see all three groups competing and representing the Savage culture the right way.
This weekend also marks a new era for our 14U team, as we welcome back Coach Brad’s son, Bradford, returning to the Savage family after time away honing his skills with another program. We’re thrilled to have him back on the floor, bringing leadership, energy, and experience to the group.
Our 13U boys will look to continue building chemistry as they integrate new additions and sharpen their execution, while our 12U team will take on a two-game shootout, continuing to grow and prepare for full tournament play.
We’re proud of how far each group has come — and we’re looking forward to another weekend of teamwork, competition, and growth.
WHAT'S NEXT
We’ll be back in action:
November 8-9 at Sports Academy
November 22-23 also at Sports Academy (weekend before Thanksgiving)
Parents, please make sure all availability is updated in TeamSnap so we can finalize rosters and rotations in advance.
RECRUITING UPDATE
We’re looking to add select players for the 7th and 6th grade teams. If you know a good fit, please check with Coach Courtney or Coach Brad before inviting them to practice. Quality and culture first.
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
Coach Courtney’s Strength & Conditioning Program
Open for athletes who want to build power, mobility, and endurance.
Coach Brad's Personal Training
Focused skill development for individual growth.
Evening sessions and weekends for better balance with academics.
ACADEMIC SHOUTOUT
We’re continuing to spotlight our Savage Scholars, recognizing players who bring the same effort and discipline to the classroom that they show on the court.
Parents — if your child has received strong grades, teacher recognition, or shown leadership at school, please share it with us! We’ll highlight their achievements in next week’s newsletter.
Let's keep working hard!
