WEEK OF 11.24.2025
SAVAGE BASKETBALL ACADEMY WAS BACK IN ACTION
We had a competitive and productive weekend across all Savage teams. As we head toward December and the new year, every group is showing growth, toughness, and stronger chemistry week by week.
🏀 12U (6th Grade) – Back-to-Back 2–0 Weekends
Our 12-year-old group continues to impress, going 2–0 for the second straight week. This group is beginning to show they’re tournament ready, playing harder, smarter, and more connected each weekend.
🏀 13U (7th Grade) – Ready for the Next Step
The 13-year-old team finished 1–3, but played four very competitive games. This group is close — really close — to making the jump. With two tournaments in December, the focus will be tightening up defensively and continuing to build trust and communication.
🏀 14U (8th Grade) – Battled in the Gold Division
Our 14-year-old boys competed hard in the Gold Division, finishing 2–2 on the weekend. Their defensive intensity and improved ball movement are helping them get ready for a strong December that includes the Sports Academy National Cup.
PLAYER OF THE WEEKEND
For the second weekend in a row, Grayson Harrison earns Player of the Weekend honors.
He not only helped lead the 12U team to another undefeated weekend, but also played up with the 13U team and proved he belongs — as a 5th grader. Grayson’s leadership, communication, and poise continue to elevate everyone around him.
UPDATED DECEMBER TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
Thanksgiving break is a perfect opportunity for extra work with:
• Coach Brad – Skills, IQ, and guard/wing development
• Coach Courtney – Strength, conditioning, mobility, and footwork
Consistency through the holidays will separate the players who take the next jump in January.
ACADEMIC SHOUTOUT
We continue to highlight our Savage Scholars — athletes committed to excellence in the classroom.
Parents: please send academic updates (grades, teacher praises, improvements) so we can recognize your son in next week’s newsletter.
Let's keep working hard!
