Another solid weekend for Savage Basketball! After nearly four weeks off, our teams returned to action with strong performances and high energy:

🏀 11U Boys went 2–2

🏀 13U Boys finished 3–1

PLAYERS OF THE WEEKEND

11U - Victor De Dios

Victor’s energy, effort, and tenacity were on full display in all four games. He’s improving around the basket and finishing stronger every week. With continued dedication, the sky’s the limit for Victor as a key contributor to the 11U squad.

13U - Skyler Scott

Skyler has been a cornerstone of our 13U team. Known for his defensive leadership, Skyler consistently takes on the toughest assignments and finds a way to slow down the opposing team’s best player. His presence on both ends of the court makes him an invaluable asset.

UPCOMING TOURNAMENTS

Vegas Tournament | 🗓 July 18–20 | 📍 Las Vegas

🎲 It’s Vegas Time! We are officially heading to Vegas for one of our biggest tournaments of the year! Savage Basketball Academy will be represented by three teams:

• 11U Boys

• Two 13U squads

This is a major opportunity to compete with top teams from all over the country and showcase the growth and player development of our program. One of the moments we’ve all been working toward starts Friday. Let’s represent Savage with pride, focus, and that elite energy. 💪🏽🔥

TRAINING & WORKOUT REMINDERS

School’s out, which makes this a great time for extra development.

🏋🏽‍♂️ Coach Brad's Skill Training (Boys & Girls Club)

Thursdays: Beginners: 7pm | Advanced: 7:30pm
Fridays: All skill levels at 7:30pm
NEW: Midday sessions now available for players on summer break — reach out to Coach Brad for 1-on-1 or small group workouts!

Strength & Conditioning with Coach Courtney

Focus: mobility, flexibility, kettlebell/band work, and light conditioning.
🗓 Tuesdays & Thursdays at 10am ⏰
📍 Santa Clarita Park (off Seco) or Central Park (hills/trails)

🏀 Shooting Machine Workouts

We’re hoping to organize shooting machine sessions. A minimum number of participants is needed to cover transport and logistics. If interested, please let us know!
