WEEK OF 10.13.2025
SAVAGE BASKETBALL SHOWS OUT
12U
Our 6th Grade group competed in a two-game Saturday shootout, finishing 1–1 and continuing to grow each week. This team is developing chemistry and learning to play together with heart and hustle.
Jackson ed by example with his consistent play and energy. Shoutout also to Christian, Jordan, Rice, and Dylan for their teamwork and focus — even with limited numbers, they competed hard and represented Savage with pride.
13U
A strong weekend for our 7th Grade Boys, who finished 3–1 and continue to impress. This group is talented and coming together fast.
We’re excited to have Jeremiah Kenion promoted full-time from our 6th Grade team and to welcome new addition Kevin Tate, who has fit right in.
Rainier’s work ethic is showing up on both ends of the floor. After waiting patiently for his chance, he’s stepped up as a true leader and tone-setter for this team.
14U
Another strong weekend for our 8th Grade group, who fell just short in the championship game but continued to show tremendous growth. Over their last three tournaments, they’ve reached the championship bracket in all three and the finals in each.
The development and maturity of this group have been outstanding — they’ve built a tough, defensive identity and a team-first mentality that’s setting them apart.
Anthony had an outstanding weekend, shooting with confidence, improving defensively, and stepping up as a reliable two-way player. Great job, Anthony!

Savage Basketball is built on both discipline and academics. We’re proud of our players who continue to show focus in the classroom as well as on the court.
Parents — send in your child’s academic wins (strong grades, improvement, or leadership at school) so we can celebrate them in next week’s issue.
Let’s stay focused and locked in as we prepare to compete this weekend!
